Aracely Guerrero – ZΛ #4
Director of Administrative Relations
I was born the second child of three from two Mexican parents in Oakland California. I grew up in Berkeley California in a living near my large Mexican supportive family. I am very grateful to my father who had to work hard in California to support his family therefore he always inspired and pushed me to continue my education. I graduated with a B.A from UC Davis in Psychology with a minor in communications because I was very interested in understanding how people think, interact and develop. As a latina woman with a disability, I grew up in a community that made me passionate about giving back to it. I like volunteering and showing my support. My goal is to one day be working as an advocate in my community that can assist them in getting the resources they need. I can be described as a quiet person in the beginning. Sigma Pi Alpha has helped me grow and want to get outside my comfort zone. I like spending time with my family, reading, shopping and sometimes painting or making crafts.
My favorite quote is: “Comienza haciendo lo que es necesario, después lo que es posible y de repente estarás haciendo lo imposible” Francisco de Asís
