Dia De Los Muertos

Celebrating Dia de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, is not only important but also deeply meaningful as it allows us to honor and remember our loved ones who have passed away. This Mexican tradition is a vibrant and beautiful way to keep the memories of our ancestors alive, fostering a sense of connection and continuity with our cultural heritage. In our sorority, we recognize the significance of this holiday and actively participate in its festivities as a way to embrace diversity and inclusivity.

Our sisters organize events and activities that showcase the rich traditions associated with Dia de los Muertos, such as creating ofrendas (altars) adorned with marigolds and sugar skulls, sharing stories about our departed loved ones, and engaging in community outreach to educate others about this beautiful tradition. By involving ourselves in these celebrations, we not only pay homage to the past but also strengthen our bonds as a sorority, promoting unity and cultural appreciation among our members.
